Our Background
Synonym was originally founded in 2005 as mediaoptera. We began developing sites for clients in higher education and providing web strategy to a host of clients in diverse fields. We became Synonym in 2008 and refocused our efforts on building projects that make the web a little more useful for ordinary people.
Our team members have worked on projects for some of the biggest names on the web. We're convinced that authencity and good design go a long way and committed to building projects that make the web more useful for everyone.
